An intriguing question. I am definitely a Bridget Jones....she is more every woman than Erin Brockovitch. Bridget is smart, insecure, hopelessly romantic, optimistic at her core, funny
, lovable, kindhearted and the kind of person who makes a loyal friend. Erin has many good qualities including a heroic nature but I'm afraid hers would be a personae too difficult for me to live up to in the long run.

First, I should explain that I have one of the lowest opinions of Julia Roberts imaginable. I regard her as little more than a Barbie doll who pretends to be the world's biggest genius,
and whose movies appear to have been written by ten monkeys working with ten typewriters for ten days/years.
So how then, you may ask, could I like "Erin Brockovich"? Well, for starters, Julia Roberts does more than focus on beauty in this movie.
As a twice-divorced single mother who helps prosecute a corporation that had polluted a town's water supply, Roberts is a lot bitchier in this role than in most of her other roles.
So, in conclusion, even though I generally consider Julia Roberts pretty worthless, I do agree that her Oscar win for this movie was well deserved.
I can't honestly say that I revere or adore "Bridget Jones's Diary" (N.B.: I'm male),
but all the same, I can't help thinking that people who take an active dislike to it have something wrong with them.
This applies not just to the film as a whole but to Bridget Jones, the central character, in particular. What has she done to merit dislike?
She's beautiful (as beautiful as Renée Zellweger has ever been on screen), honest and kind-hearted.
The diary she keeps certainly reveals her many flaws, but none is particularly pronounced, most are purely negative and anyway, she shares them all with the rest of us - so don't pretend you're not like this, too.
My opinion would be "A Respectable Draw"

I think I would like to be Erin, smart sassy determined and caring, but I'm probably more like Bridget, Big Pants, screwed up love life, drink problem, can't cook, career going nowhere

Bridget for sure.
Slightly overweight
Have no sexy undies
Choose the cad every time
Talk to myself constantly
Can't give up my vices for any reason
My Mum still serves gherkins on jatz as the pinnacle of finger food
But my bank balance resembles Erins (in the first scenes of the movie).
