My Dodge Caravan has 130,000 miles. Other than oil changes should I use a product like Slick 50 or any other engine treatment to help an older engine run well?

Try using some of the new "high mileage" oils out there, as they have additives in them for that reason and you are not paying the extra money for a by-product.

There are a few additives like Restore that sometimes work if your engine is already close to sell destruction and you just want to get another couple thousand miles before a rebuild. But most additives do more harm than good... including, in the long term, those ones that might temporarily help. The only reason to use one is if you are planning to junk it soon or take the engine out and completely clean it out and rebuild it but just need a little more time. Slick 50 actually got sued and had to agree never to again actually state that it will make your engine last longer, in fact.
