Maybe it's the way you compose yourself?

Do you really care what people think any way??

If they don't have the intellegence to see beyond the phsyical appearance then they are not worth you spending any more time on them.

Once you are happy when you look in the mirror then that's all that counts.

Drive on girl....

You have to get rid of that lack of self esteem...!! Honestly, I have seen just as many dumb brunettes as I've seen blondes who aren't that smart. The reason why people have come up with the "stupid blonde" prejudice is because blondes are usually prettier and sexier...si brunettes had to have something to feel good about themselves!
I'm sure you can achieve much more if you lose that attitude! It's actually really fun to see people surprised when they hear you talk and realise you're not only pretty, but you're also smart! So if you have anything to prove, go for it with a blonde attitude! If others tend to underestimate you, don't let them make you underestimate yourself!

I have daughters that fit your description, blonde hair blue eyes, they maintained a 4.0 GPA all their school years and sure they do not like the "blonde" jokes but they are proud of their beauty and that takes prevalence over the "dumb blonde" reputation. You do not have to worry about proving anything to anyone just let your intelligence be seen in your actions and be proud of who you are.

doh blondes are stupid srry here is an example.

a blonde goes into a law firm to apply for a secretary job opening and two other girls are there a red head and a brunette.

the brunette goes in and comes out all happy saying the interview was good.

the red head goes in and comes out extremely happy and says the interview was spectacular.

the blonde goes in and sits down at the interviewers desk. where he starts to interiew her with 3 questions.

Q1) What is 2+2=?
A1) doh its 4

Q2) what was the first president's name?
A2) Thomas Jefferson
Interviewer replies close enough since he is seeing her beauty and not caring for inteligence at this point.

Q3) who killed President Lincoln?
A3) (she thinks for a few minutes starts to reply then thinks some more finally) i dont know

the interviewer is thinking he can't let this fine blonde go so he tells her that if she can go home and find the answer and tell him the answer tomorrow she has the job. the blonde leaves happily and heads home.

She enters the front door of er house and her husband asks how it went and she replies it was great ive been assigned my first murder case.

You have nothing to prove to anyone. people look at me and think I'm a ding-a-ling to because I have blonde hair and blue/green eyes, but what the don't realize is I have a very very high IQ. It is their surprise when I speak. So let them think what they want and then enjoy the look on their faces when you prove them wrong

The fact that you have to ask this question indicates either a self esteem issue or the fact that you may be intellectually challenged.

Do smart things. Read. Do you have a college degree? Attend theater and visit art museums. Have intellectual conversation about politics and world events. Surround yourself with intelligent companions.

You prove it to them by being yourself and not being concerned about their opinions. Actually, you are lucky, people expect little from you, so it is easy to exceed their expectations, and "Wow" them. So you just let them think what they want, and you "out-think" them and get what you want.

On the other hand, If you are saying that you want to be treated with more respect, then you need to act with dignity (no giggling, gushing or shrieking), dress more maturely (tailored clothes), and project an air of serenity.

to hell with what people think of you!!! anyone who buys into that stereotype should be shot......you have self-worth and are a human being and you will get respect only if you give it...keep uppermost in your mind that you are just as good as the next person and that you have something good to contribute to the world/family/friends/workplace...always dress in the most becoming lines/colors you can afford...always remember this; ACT AS IF..if you act as if you are what you want to be, it will help you in your journey..hey I got really long-winded but that's the way I feel about it all!!!!!!!!! Good luck..and remember, your'e never well-dressed without a smile...a sincere, friendly one!!
