2) 70% of franchises owners have more than 1 franchise.
3) The Company can tell you the information you need and there are many Subways for sale across the World.

Through my observation and estimation:
sandwich markup 60%
drinks markup > 90%

average sale per day:
800 sandwiches
500 drinks

You need a minimum 3 staffs to run with full efficiency. Excluding the cleaner and yourself as franchise manager. There are massive profit potential but it's only viable if you have a good location. As although the subway product is quite good, they are comparably more expensive than other fast food chain. People won't walk that extra mile for that ^___^

Give me some free vouchers when you open or I can be your quality manager to inspect the product of your franchise in a weekly basis. Cheers.

I can not speak for Subway, however, I know a gentleman that owned a Quiznos Franchise and it cost him approx. $270,000 to start that franchise. He left that business due to very long hours and and low return. There are options to starting a business with a much higher income potential and less investment than purchasing a franchise. If you would like to discuss those options, contact me.

I never really noticed it,but i usually just get a 6 inch sub when i go to Subway.I think that guy had too much free time on his hand to measure a sandwich with a ruler.

I will only say this : The franchise will cost you over $10,000... you could make alot of subs and keep the money made off them for that amoun,t if you just simply do your homework on your area and make the subs that everyone wants, using YOUR own business !!

I had a friend who was going to buy a subway fran., because it was cheaper than some of the others. Although cheaper, he said that the licensing fees were too much. He ended up opening up his own deli.

Check out their website. We looked into it but are put off by the lack of originality allowed into the outlet. They don't support through enough brand advertising but restrict the local influence and add ons.
