mine is dirty dancing. the acting AND dancning weren't half bad at all.
usually the dancings good but the acting sucks. vis versa.
nobody puts baby in the corner =]

Flashdance is the best...the scene where she auditions for the dance school is thrilling but due in good part to the musical score...so very 80s!!

Shall we Dance - Richard Gere and La Guitara.
Then the Jennifer Beals movie - has the Irene Cara songs in it. Flashdance.
Have you checked out the Tango number in the Antonio Banderas movie?

I don't think most of the dance movies are ever very good but the scenes where they do the actual routines are great. Example, You got Served. Horrible movie but the dance steps were awesome. Step up was an ok movie and their routine in the end was great. I think one of the coolest routines I saw in a movie was Roll Bounce. The acts they did on skates was amazing. What's your favorite? You didn't mention.

"Shall we dance" had it all.......Richard Gere & Jennifer Lopez. They were awesome together. Their acting was great also. I can't forget "Dirty Dancing" with Jennifer Grey & Patrick Swazye......phenomenal dancing........
