My friend and I were shopping a couple of days ago and the elastic broke in her panties and they fell down in the shop. Luckily no one else was in the isle at the time so she quickly took them off and made me shove them in my pocket until we got outside to a bin (I was wearing jeans, she was in a mini skirt). We then had to go to another store so she could buy new panties, but until then she had to go commando in a mini skirt and was very embarrassed.
Anyone else had similar problems?

I had a pair of panties decide to start giving way at a critical minute, so there I am in the deli service line, trying to pin them at my hips before they got away (and look inconspicuous doing it, which is darned tough work before the morning coffee!)....barely made it to the bathroom.

And I'm no girl!---I was 47, in a **moderately** short skirt...and can vouch for the fact that it's STILL an embarrassing situation.

Yes.
I lost my bikini top in the ocean when I was 15. It was a string triangle top, so there wasn't much to hold it in place. I was mortified, and since I was (and still am) so full in the bust, it was hard to hide. That was my first and last attempt at a bikini.

don't really wear skirts or dresses but a long one would be much better than a short one
