I was wondering, are the preseason games being televised for the NHL? I swear they were last year! Whats up with that?

If you get the Fox Sports Channels they are showing preseason games. I switched between the Rangers Devils and Pittsburgh Flyers last night and plan on watching the Wings and Avs tonight.

I haven't seen any of them being televised, I don't recall them being televised last season either. Best bet is tuning into a sports radio station and listening to the game or going to the actual game.

The only way you can usually listen to pre-season games, is to listen on the radio or internet.

If the team uses B2 Network, you can at least watch the game on the internet.. but I think it costs $6.00 to watch -- and that's only the games that they're offering. (Not all teams use B2 Network and not all games are available on it even if they do)

Hopefully (some day) hockey will be more popular on television.. It's hugely popular LIVE... but some people just don't like watching it on tv. I'll watch it any way I can get it! :o)

Who cares! They are only playing to get their bodies and game in shape for the regular season. They aren't playing for points in the standings or the Cup or anything else. Bring on the regular season! Then I will be interested in televised games. HNIC rules!

They were probably airing pre-season games last year becaus ethey wanted to get fans back after the lockout. I know Leaf pre-season games are on LeafsTV but you have to subscribe to it.
