What are the problems caused by juries during any case and what would the advantages of having a trial by jury?

The advantage is that you are judged by the community and not a lone judge

with all their intelligence and high education most of them they are unequivocally able to indict a ham sandwich and find it guilty of being dead meat,, most do believe that the law and the prosecutors are infallible thus the person must be guilty some of the problem arise that during testimony the truth is stretched and a person past criminal history is not made available to the juries giving them probable cause that if the same individual has committed similar crimes and convicted in the past the likelihood in the pertinent case may have some bearing
