I have the means to start a company, but seeking someone to do it with in Florida .?

Question

Iam 45 years old and sitting here on the West Coast of Florida wanting to do something that will keep me energized. Is there anyone in the area of " Tampa Bay", that may want to discuss a joint venture, a business op, etc ? I am open to suggestions. Have you thought of contacting people in the areas that you would be interested in?

Here are some solutions
1. You have a ton of money
2. You have a ton of expertise but no money
3. You have some money and some expertise

1. If you have money to bankroll a business, decide an area where you feel that there is a need in your area, and find somebody with expertise in that area who is thinking about the same thing. They provide the expertise and resources, and you provide the startup funds (and a healthy ownership portion of the business)

2. You have no money, but you have expertise in an area where there is a need.........advertise for potential business partners in the newspaper, online forums (and a quick Google search shows hundreds of online forums for Tampa St. Pete's), etc in an attempt to have somebody finance your business. You provide the expertise, and they provide the funding...especially advertising funding to gain a customer base.

3. Find somebody of like mind who has the expertise and financial wherewithal that you have and combine your talents and financial resources.

My brother started a locksmithing business in Southern Ontario several years ago....he felt there was a need, and after a few months, found somebody willing to bankroll him (My brother provided $20K worth of expertise, his partner provided $20K worth of cash). Within 2 years they had revenues of $800,000 and 5 employees. Last year, after 6 years, my brother sold his portion of the business for almost $750,000 and has invested in real estate in several University towns............the handiwork around the houses keeps him more than busy
