They are almost true. The problem is ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING is subjective.
For example, without relating it to something, how can you describe a colour? You could say "Trees are Green". But how do you know the person standing next to you, looking at the same tree, is seeing the same colour? It could be two completely different colours to each of you, but you both recognise it as "Green".
I mean, that's taking your question to the absolute extreme. Facts that you discover for yourself are true "to you". Facts that other people tell you are usually either second-hand, biased or just plain wrong.

Yes, so long as the facts have not been tinted by subjectivity. Three people can watch a car wreck into a school bus, and report "facts" differently. They believe they are telling the truth, but they are only telling what they see. Fact is, the car and the school bus collided on a road. HOW it came about is not yet factual until you have proof and testimony to go with it. Then, you may have only circumstancial evidence and eye witness testimony.
If it is truly a FACT, then yes, it is the truth.

Interpretation of facts is subjective.
But WHO you get your facts from should always be checked, double checked and cross-checked.
Always list your sources and if you have time see where they are coming from in their argument.
People with certain agendas can manipulate facts to reinforce their point.
And that's a fact!

Facts are definately true. How ever, you learn in statistics classes that you can spin facts to be presented in different methods adn serve different purposes.

Facts are, by nature, true.
However, many of the alleged facts thrown at us are arrived at by devious means, so one cannot trust all "facts."

Facts by definition are true until such times they are disproved. Then they cease to be so.
