It depends on the type of job you are interviewing for. I would say for any jobs that require some kind of professional skills, at least 30 minutes to 60 minutes. If the job doesn't involve any professional skills (such as entry level admin jobs, it may end earlier.

There's really no set time limit. It depends how the interview goes, etc. I had one that probably lasted 1/2 hour. I suppose it could have lasted 10 minutes if the interviewer and I weren't getting along as well. (I still didn't get that job, though....)

Usually an approximate time is given when the phone interview is scheduled. Typically, 30 - 45 minutes. Depending upon the answers, it can be longer or shorter if detailed answers are not provided.
