If your looking at The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion which requires a minimum of GeForce 6200.
Then No it won't work.
It requires pixel shader 2.0 which the 440 doesn't have.
I had a Ti 4200 this didn't work. All I had was a white screen.
Many very new PC games now require pixel shader 2.0

Hey,
I was looking for a free download Broken Sword Return of the Templars I found it here; http://bit.ly/1ub04uj

Finally the full version is avaiable!
Despite being an unofficial version, Broken Sword: The Return of the Templars got enough notoriety among the fans of the series, to the extent that their legal creators gave their full support.
You should definitely try it

It's unlikely. I had an MX 440 and had to upgrade it quite some while ago to play certain games (Black & White 2 I think)

Depends what settings you have set. I used to have a Geforce MX440 in my old machine and it ran many games ok. You can't use features like anti-aliasing or anistropic filtering, but you can still play the games (they just wont be as high quality). I'd take a chance.

it depends on the settings of the game. you wouldnt be bale to ramp thegraphics up very much, as the 440 is an old card by todays standards

why bother if that's the min spec yours just doesn't cut it and the graphics in the game will be have to be set to low spec or the game will run too slow to enjoy playing either upgrade the card or don't bother with the game. your choice.

Weve just had to upgrade to Geforce 7600 from a 5200, since i bought oblivion and a few more games and my machine kept crashing. We also had to update our motherboard as it was a AGP one and all new cards are PCI
