The best way, is to actually take your time doing it. Wash and condition your hair, wait till it's damp then blow dry it with a paddle brush, when it is dry then you have to straight iron it, you have to make sure you section it off though. As far as products i like pureology nano glaze, and thermafuse, and i think bumble and bumble has a good one.

Go to to a SALON!!! if it has been permed and you want it straightened, and you do it yourself or even at a salon, you are risking it breaking off at the roots, which I have experienced. If you want to do it on a temporary basis, get a good ceramic, professional straightener and use a product that protects your hair from the heat of the straightener.
Either way, you are damaging your hair. Try different styles with your hair the way it is now.
Either way, consult a professional!

The best way is to use a curling iron.preferably the one with a ceramic plate.I use the ghd brand.it makes my hair frizz free.i get alot of compliments. try it you will see results.
remember it is temporary because everytime you wash it it will return back to the way your hair looked previously.
