Course its a bloody good idea and it doesnt need the national lottery to fund it,they can fund me lol.
The government or the Army should do it,set up a camp for young tearaways. But i will add to the point that there are some good kids out there.
Forget all this young offenders and sending them on holidays, giving them playstations etc.
Many countries still have national service e.g Germany.I have a friend there who has had to do it(he now trains the police in self-defence)
We have a weak judicial system and it would be a good idea to shock these kids, basically saying "you aint gonna get away with it anymore"
The age should be about 16 not 12

Oh I totally agree with you 100%, the Lottery can afford to fund it instead of giving the money to places its not needed, the parents don't seem to be able to handle their kids anymore, so yes lets get them into national service now, but make sure they have something to come out to job or good education wise, we need to bring apprenticeships back big time in this country and all the ones that are fading because of lack of interest too.

Excellent question. Discipline, self respect and manners are tthree of the many things that would be instilled in young adults, male and female (because they want equality), if National Service were to be reintroduced.
Why have National Lottery Funding - we pay our taxes so lets get something in return for them.

Top Question mate........I think males should automatically enter national service the moment they leave the education system, probably for 4 years. This would allow those who want to go on to higher education complete their work first.
This system would have to be for ALL British born subjects, religion aside.
Women should also be offered national service but at a mandatory 1 year.

I would favour 3 years national service starting at the age of 15...12 is too young.
Although with the attitude of some of today's youngster, it may just lead to a nation of hardnuts coming out and giving us all a kicking when they are 18 years old.

I doubt if we very own something now, as we've been offered down the river on very almost each thing, we don't understand approximately, as this lot in no way tells us, nor supplies us a vote on it the two. the placement is now that this government do not seem to think of that they'd desire to ask the British human beings something, yet bypass forward so now shall we belong to all and dissimilar, and extraordinarily that Europe lot. via fact the asserting is going... we gained the conflict yet have lost the Peace, so the six years we had to bear, to healthful the suited brass did us no solid in any respect . nutrition rationing , outfits rationing, ought to not purchase something, worked sixty hours each week on munitions, and for what.. ? purely a brilliant form of misery we had to bear, and no peace of concepts. They quickly overlook what the individuals went by way of, and in my eyes i did not get something out of it purely a depressing life for all that element, and that i grow to be in my young human beings.considering the fact that then I worked till i grow to be 80, yet that did me no solid the two, and all I easily have is the meanest of Pensions for taking my life away. I would desire to have stopped at domicile, sat and did not something so the State ought to pay me to do it.Payed all my life additionally for the nationwide wellbeing provider and in no way used it purely to have 2 infants, yet others come to this u . s ., in no way pay a penny and get it occupied with not something. that could be a very good u . s ., hardly think of so....who owns it... i ought to care much less

I would make it boys over 16 that have not got a job or going into further education right after leaving school.
It would certainly make men of the yobbos and teach them a trade as well as vital life skills.
The bonus is they would get paid too. I'd rather pay for them to do that than have my taxes used to pay for their benefits and legal aid!

Whats wrong with responsible parenting ? Discipline should start at home and not rely on others to straighen kids out who have not been correctly brought up.

would like to m8, but id rather all hooligans, thieves, muggers etc be sent there. Id hate for our decent youths to be brandished with the same brush. Think their parents should be punished more for allowing them to get out of control in the first place......
