Is it wierd for me to think he should tell his wife... so that she can stop wondering if there's something going on, and possibly just deal with it and possibly letting him seeing me once a week?

In theory, it is proper for the man to confide in the existing wife about his intention to marry an extra wife. However, despite the fact that Islam permits a man to marry up to 4 wives, most muslim women have found it extremely difficult to come to terms with this divine priviledge to men. Most men who want to marry another wife go about the courtship with utmost caution and secrecy until such a time that the new relationship has gone beyond going back. At least, that is the case with educated muslim couples in my own part of Africa.

No, I don't think its weird, I would say more like stupid and selfish.
Number 1, why are you messing around with a married man?? Do you really think that little of yourself that you would let a man use you like that? Yes, I said "use".. I don't care how much he says he loves you..he is a married man and still with his wife.
Secondly..do you really think that she is going to let you continue to see you if she finds out?? I'll bet she has more self-esteem than you do and tells him and you to get lost. I don't care what the religion...cheating is cheating!! And I certainly wouldn't want him..if he cheats on her, he'll cheat on you too..

Honey do you really think that if his wife finds out about your affair she will let him see you??????????? Think again!!!!!!! And besides this man is clearly taken so go find your own man!!! Honestly if he really cared for you and loved you as I think he tells you, he would have left his wife already even if there is children involved!?!?!?!?!?! Don't ask questions you won't like the answers to!!!!

it's ok for you to expect him to divorce his wife and settle with you.. but don't expect her to be some idiot to be cheated upon AND THEN share her husband with you! either take him, or LEAVE him (most women with self-respect would do this one)... find your own guy...

actually, for the fact that he's such a c*nt, tell her, and save her the misery of trusting such an ****ole for a lifetime!

ammmm.. and... ru mentally okay?? "letting him seeing me once a week" where do u live, fairytale land?!?! grow up!! slap, slap!! this is the real world.....have u lost it??

Unless you plan to stay with him and his wife and become his second wife, {its not legal but allowed in the muslim world} why bother seeing him at all.

well, i don't think religion has anything to do with this issue.
but being with a married man, you will either get him with you at the end by him divorcing his wife.
or him leaving you and be back to his wife.

I think you had better find your own single man, and leave married men alone.
