Find a job that allows to do make a positive difference to peoples lives. If your job is meaningless - leave. You only get one life. If you are finding motivation hard, then examine what do you want the job to give you in life. Do what you love. It might take time to find this, but you can start thinking about it today.

I have a simple test. If I get up and 'really' don't want to go to work then I start mental counter. If I have three of these days in a couple of weeks, it is time to leave.

I would recommend - What should I do with my life by Po Bronson, also Working Identity by Hiberra (I think). Both are worth a read.

it you have to get yourself motivated, maybe you should try changing jobs? A good sign is if you don't have to get yourself motivated, it comes in and of itself because you like the job.

First, thank God that U have another day of life!! Next, thank Him that U have a job! Earning $ to pay your bills, etc. Have fun, too! Then, see if U like your job or do U want another? I dunno wat your hopes n dreams are. Only U kno that! Watever U do, just do it to the BEST of your ability! No matter wat it is! Enjoy your co-workers. Find good things to say to them. They will look forward to U being there! That will help in and of itself! If U treat them with dignity and respect, they will WANT U there! If U are fun, and help to motivate THEM, it will make U so desired to be there! THAT, willl be motivation for YOU!! Just be a wonderful person! BEST U can be!! that will be motivation enuf!!
Oh. Have a cup of tea, or coffee too. Helps me. Danni

How great it will be when all of your work is done, no deadlines are hanging over your head and you can go home to a cold brew and a warm P***Y (assuming your male or lesbian) Works for me.

I come in and sit at my desk and write down all the things I need to do today. And I set certain times for me to do certain things.
eg. by 9 I need to have all my invoices ready for signing.
by 12 I need to have them all processed. etc. That way you know wat you're doing and you're trying hard to finish your work before your time is up. Goodluck!
