With the same amount of kids my wife and i tried almost every vehicle within the range. Zafira / Touran / grand scenic - rear seats all fold down into the boot which means once they are up there is not enough room to swing a mouse!. Galaxy - rear seat is a pain to move - and again no room for luggage.
We decided on a Grand Espace (only got the grand version as more room for luggage) Espace is almost as good as ALL rear seats are removable so you can emove one of the back seats for even more luggage space. 2.2Dci is most economical and more importantly it's got a 5* safety rating which is priceless.
We get 40mpg round town, looks good - loads of extra storage and drives like a large car rather than an MPV.

My brother in law has a 6 seater but once you get the 2 seats up in the back there is no boot space, would be funny to watch them fit all their stuff in if they were going on holiday.
