A "leased line" usually refers to leasing part or all of a T1 or faster fiber optic line. It is broadband, except you are renting the WHOLE line, not just one account on it. Usually run a few thousand dollars a month. Used for whole companies needing Internet access rather than just one person.

Leased lines are data lines (such as T1, T3, OC48, ADSL, etc.)leased from data providers to businesses. Broadband is a type of leased data line. Broadband is also a type of bandwidth, the other being Baseband.
