You are absolutely right! I live in CT and am planning to move elsewhere in the coming months because the cost of living is so high and prohibitive (and not to mention that CT is turning into a cesspool anyway... it's crowded, the people are rude, the traffic is a dangerous nightmare, and employment opportunities are limited). The cost of living is so expensive because of high property taxes (CT has the 2nd best educational system in the country, and we pay for it), the highest State gas taxes in the country, personal property taxes that are required for every vehicle that people own (cars, boats, RVs, etc.) which is not a tax that other states have. Also, CT is a small state with several metropolitan areas, whereas in other states you have a few big cities and small towns in between. This causes there to be pockets of poor folks collecting welfare and social services at a disproportionately high rate compared to other states. Taxes are the main culprit for the ridiculous cost of living in CT, and are the reason that young professionals like myself are fleeing en masse. I hate CT!

One cutting-edge study concluded the hollow now favors women folk - it fairly is been published here quite a few cases. the subject with the early pay hollow study is they only in comparison adult males and girls folk of the comparable place. although, women folk take greater leave from artwork than adult males (in area to have and guard toddlers), in many cases do not artwork as many greater hours and until eventually those days oftentimes had much less training and instruction. One could anticipate those transformations to be contemplated in diverse pay costs. outdated's Cool: the subject for feminists although, isn't purely that there is a niche, yet why. They declare there's a niche and that exists purely simply by discrimination against them simply by fact they are women folk. Their declare is predicated on the thought adult males and girls folk interior the comparable profession do the comparable job, have the comparable artwork journey, comparable instruction, and so on. This assumption is possibly not purely right.

Where I live, yes it can get pretty expensive (into the millions), but this is only in fairfield county. The posotive side of this is huge plots of land, and very good schools. If you are looking for a cheaper place to start, The counties in the north generally are cheaper than down south, and the ones in the south east are about as cheap, but are also kind of isolated.

High taxes. High cost of home ownership. Too many liberals running the state government for too long, spending too much money.
