i'ev never had any intention or desire to go to america, no affence, i love my country, AUSTRALIA, the most amazing down to earth place, america seems overwhelmed with a false sence of a wonderland. it's way too hollywood for me. maybe some other cities aren't so fixsated on the ideals or dream lifestyles etc, but its way to globalised for my humble lifestyle

The United States is made up of immigrants. In the beginning they came here from nearly every nation looking for their dream. In 1865 there were a thousand or more immigrants that came through New York Harbor and were processed through Castle Gardens. Castle Gardens closed when Ellis Island opened. They just kept coming. My people came in 1865. They had to work very hard but it was better for them than where they came from. Nothing comes free to us. Yes in America you can find your dream if you are willing to put forth the effort. Yes America is a very good place. I have never been in other countries so I can't say it is the best but is is where every one seems to want to emigrate to.

It is in a sense, considering the freedoms. Its not a dream for them,they can come and at least try to get ahead. my thing is, are they willing to die for this country or will they run back home. I can't leave. I am from a people without a country. so all i can do is fight for my right to live.

USA may be most rich place. Most techno savvy place. But no way the best place. And for your information hardly one percent of qualified people of our country wants to go to USA.
Even the starving people of our country also will not settle their if got chance.
HOME IS THE BEST PLACE TO ALL.
INDIA IS THE HOME FOR MORE THAN A BILLION..
WE WILL WIN IN WORLD WIDE VOTE.

I'm from America as well, and I have no problem with Americans thinking that this is the greatest country. I just wish we would stop trying to convince the rest of the world of that.

The liberals don't like it here, never have.
But they won't move out, except when frightened, to avoid the draft.

No, the reason many people are coming here is the money, in US you can make good money which is worth much more in their own countries, this is the lure.
