It isn't just a question of being turned on but your health? As this can also cause a softie!! If you smoke heavily or drink alot then blood cannot get to where it need's to go ie your penis. But also it could be down to the fact that you are just not enjoying it, which has nothing to to with bring gay or straight. Sometimes what worked for you one time may not work for you next time. The only way is to experiment in the bedroom with you partner and find out what make's you tick. If however you are gay then you would probably know that by now as you will find the same sex attractive??

I think the reason could be because the sensation that you feel when you are receiving oral sex is different than when you are having intercourse. I use my husband for instance, if I go down on him, it takes forever for him to ejaculate, but if we are having intercourse then it doesn't take as long. It has a lot to do with the amount of friction, in my opinion. try using your hands as well as your mouth it may help.
