i think it is a site that allows you to im people without downloading the software to your computer, i dont want to download anything on my work computer. i joined but it will not allow me to enter and i cant see how to fix what is not allowing me to im people. It told me that i may have input the wronge password but it doesnt explain how to chage the password or how to delet my account so that i can start over. Please help

you dont have to join meebo to start sending IM's to your friends. you just have to login with your already existing username/password of the IM site you wish to use.
For eg. If u want to use the messenger service of yahoo, just enter your yahoo username and password in the respective fields and click 'sign in'. This'll display ur buddy list and allow you to send IM's...

1. Make sure that you are using the correct password of your IM like Yahoo, MSN, AIM, etc
2. Try to create a new account using any of your IM site
3. Try to log into the new account from http://www.meebo.com
4. If you are getting inside then it is due to your problem that you'd faced earlier
When I checked i logged in without any problem

You don't have to join meebo for im people. If you have yahoo id, go to yahoo and join. Then you can chat.
