I have created a small windows application to be run at server. Which simply listens client request and sends some response. Only single thread I am running. I want my application to be run at minimum memory resources (in kbs). But It is going increased. After a long time the GC collects memory and comes up to 5mb. but that is so more. I tried it making console application also. But it takes more than making a simple form and minimizing on system tray. Another thing, If I minimize the form manually the resources used to be lesser than that of minimizing via programming.
