Fort Myers Florida?

Question

I am here with my family, Daughter 2 1/2, son 19 and wife. What can we do for fun here that does not cost an arm and a leg? I have done the beach thing, and have 5 days left to fill. HELP!

I was on Marco Island for Christmas last year and we did some inexpensive things that were very fun. I suggest an AirBoat ride. You get to see native flora and fauna and the ride is fun, but not too wild. The site I linked for you below says adults are $22 and your 10 year old and two -1/2 year old would be $16 (under 2 is free!)

Don't leave Florida with out it! It was the highlight of our trip.

Look for museums near you. One we found told some interesting stories of how Florida was used by the first settlers.

I live here in Fort Myers. The shell factory is a family thing. There is a pretty cool zoo called Everglades something in Bonita Springs on Old 41. There is also a great restaurant called Buffalo Chips near there that has the best wings in Florida that has live bluegrass music on Saturdays (947-1000). You can rent a canoe and paddle down the Estero River. I have to work, so I have to wait for the weekends for fun.

There isn't anything to do around here but "go shopping".
It seems to be the next big craze or sport shall I say...... Haven't you noticed the shopping malls at every intersection?
Try the 'ding darling preserve' on Sanibel of course it cost 6 dollars to cross the bridge. Watch all the illegal immigrants being picked up for work on Palm Beach Blvd. Oh that's right, we don't have any illegals here.......ask Jeb Bush. The amusement parks are in Tampa and Orlando.
