Was travelling in Oz and knew that a friend of mine was planning to be in the same town at around the same time I was going to be there but as I had just finished a three day trip of the outback I had not been able to check my e-mails. Checked into the first hostel I found when I got to town and took a shower. As I was in the dorm sorting out my stuff a voice behind me said "Oh, hello, we have new people in the room". Turned around and it was my friend, not only in the same room, in the same hostel but in the bunk underneath the one I had chosen!

Two people I know grew up in South Africa where they lived in the same town, but didn't know each other.
They both moved to England at around the same time, and went to the same school.
They only realised this a couple of months ago when they were both employed by the same company!
That's pretty coincidental I think!

Years ago I worked for a lady at an agency in London - we both left around the same time and she went abroad. She stayed out of the country for about 3yrs and we eventually lost touch. I was headhunted by that company and went for a job interview last night.... the woman who interviewed me was my old friend/employer - we had both changed names subsequently, so had no idea who the other was. It was really freaky. So instead of an interview I got a 3hr gossip session!!!!

I once spent the weekend at a luxury spa chilling out and having a fine old time. Came the moment of departure I turned the car radio on and what were they playing?

When I was a boy we moved house to a new town and the very next day my dad had to fly to another country on a bussiness trip. As he was flying back a few days later he was chatting to the guy sat next to him on the plane and it turned out this guy was from the same town we just moved to. So, coincidences happen, but then it turned out this guy lived in the same street!!! So they decided to share a taxi home, I mean why not, this guy lived next door to the new house and was our new next door neighbour that my dad hadn't met yet. Small world!!

Things like that happen and they can't be explained. Sometimes I think about a particular song and when I switch on the radio, the same song is on.
