There are music fonts available. Do a Yahoo search for "free fonts" and you should be able to find one.

Once you have the font, you would select that as your current font, and then do an "Insert" and "Symbol". It will open a window were you can see all the symbols available in the font. Select what you want and copy it. Then paste it into the word document. You can also use a text box if needed to make the symbol set exactly where you need it on the page.

You can follow the below steps if you don't have musical fonts.

1. View the musical notation you want to insert some where

2. Take a screenshot of that picture alone.

3. save that into your PC.

4. Open MS-Word

5. Select Insert->Picture->From file

6. Browse and find the file u just saved in ur PC

7. Thats it
