Like the above poster's answer, I think what you may want to look into are the desktop systems from Dell. You can purchase a factory refurbished system for 2/3 the cost of new, and believe it or not they are better than the new ones, because they actually had to look under the hood to see if anything was really wrong with it. Where as new they are slapped together with little care.
