I AM Neo!

But seriously, truth hurts. Being aware hurts. Has anybody heard of the term 'premature enlightenment'?

It’s like, if you were able to get a glimpse of enlightenment (the Buddhist term); but you were not spiritually ready for it yet. You would be so overwhelmed by all the truth, beauty and evil of the world that it would literally short your circuits!

Similarly, you could imagine if you were Jesus, standing on the temple steeple, being shown by the Devil all the glories of the Earth. Such an eye-opener would be overwhelming for any mortal man.

I’d take the pill that sends me to Wonderland.

If I were happy I would not unplug just to come back to face the ugly and unpleasant reality. What is truth? IMO it is a very subjective concept.
