if you were to measure contribution of science and technology in terms of happiness and peace of mind, sorry, it has helped people become more self-centred and selfish. it has contributed to increased greed in the minds of people. it helps in curing certain diseases, at the same time evolve newer diseases. it has contributed to distances between people. it has contributed to increased stress levels in people and it is only helping the psychologists and psychiatrists improve their bank balances !
