Because all they know about him is the lies the media spreads!! The media never tells all the good things Michael has done like the fact that he is in the 2000 Guinness Book Of World Records for giving to more charities than anyone else (39)!! They weren't around when Michael became great!! Plus today's generation doesn't have really good taste in music anyway!!

with everything that has go on around that man in the passed sever or more years. His reputation as a good man want down the drawn. Even if the story were not true.
The thing is if you told 10 people 'Joe' hurt 'Jane'. With or without prof. 6 of the ten will believe 'Joe' did it because why would you lie?
They many not think you lied because you want someone you liked, not to like 'Joe' anymore.
In the end its human nature to come running when they see fire. Michael Jackson fate was sealed when the first kid said he touched him in 'no no places.'

M. Jackson has been made fun of for a long time...starting in the 90's. I love all his songs from the 80's... the guy had some talent.

Not all hate him...but he made people dislike him for many actions one of those is being a freak who dangles his(really his??) baby out the window. He had a monkey named bubbles which disappeared into thin air. He changed colour and said he had vertiligo, he slept in an oxygen tank, he became Diana Ross but he dances well and made great music...so well some hate some don't.

The "generation" does not 'hate' Michael Jackson. I spose some do. I don't .. He is a wonderful entertainer. Many just do not like his obvious like for young boys. Like a catholic priest. It offends ppl. If a boy wants to do "things" with him, or a priest, or watever, then it is his own biz. But not be coerced into it! That is wrong! Same with girls. If a girl WANTS to hav sex with a man, it is her biz. Not ours! Not the Gov't.! Just so he doesn't mislead and coerce her! Then, it is WRONG! But, to the point, I do not believe the "generation" "HATES" Michael Jackson! Just certain ones.

Hey, I'm not from this generation but I can't stand him! It is not only cause of his way with kids, but, also because he went from being a human being into being some kind of a freak. And this whole thing about turning white is bull. There is a skin disorder that causes you to lose pigmentation but his skin would be patchy not evenly white. I liked him when he was still him!

One of the reasons - he's acting seriously out of his age range. If he looked and acted more his age, he'd probably be more accepted. He's trying too hard at "forever-young" charachter. I'd rather see a 50 year-old act 45-50 than the same person acting 22-26. I don't hate hi, I just don't really like his songs.

HUH? no one hates him, I'm 54, and grew up with his changes, but he is awesome. I just don't think he has made smart personal decisions. But that's his deal. His music is great, and I think I can talk on behalf of at least most guys that were in our '20's when 'Thriller' came out. HE WAS AWESOME and I have a lot of respect for him. I just think he's made some bad choices over the years, and maybe needed some support, that wasn't there for him. I feel for him, and I think the 'child molesting
thing against him is bogus. I really think he's for real on that, but that's something we will never know.

Uhm, maybe because he swings his kids over a balcony, without any consent of how dangerous that is. He sings about"It doesn't matter if you're black or white", but he has an obsession to be white.There's been charges laid against him for child molesting(not saying its true, but where there smoke theres a fire I always say)He's just weird and funny looking.
