OK, Honey, I'm going to break this to you gently. Harry Potter is not in "real life" as we understand the term. He is a fictional character. Daniel Radcliffe is, however, in real life, and I think he is a fine actor, in spite of all the people who carp about him. He's just handsome enough and he's very believable in the role.
But Harry, in the context of the books, is in fact a good guy. We know that, because we know inside his head. For example, we had the whole story of his exchange with the sorting hat when he first entered Hogwarts. Yes, he's a little casual about school rules. But notice that there is always a very good reason for his violations of the rules, and Dumbledore and McGonagall generally understand this, and give him less punishment than he feared.

Thus, there is no such concept as "Harry Potter in real life."
That's why JK Rowling makes the big bucks. She's a novelist, not a biographer.
