I'm a parent and I do scold my teenage boys (I have two), when they deserve it. I probably do when they don't deserve it sometimes, but I expect a lot out of them. I teach them lots of responsibility - more than most of their friends - they cook, clean, laundry, babysit, etc. - and I expect them to do it right. So I might be a bit harsh at times. However, I do admit when I'm wrong and apologize when necessary. They also have lots of things that they've earned from being responsible like TVs in their rooms, video games, computer, etc., so I expect them to take care of things and continue to respect that they have them. They also have liberal rules with their social life, and I trust them to make good decisions. If they fail at this, I don't let it slide, they need to know immediately if they have let someone down, even if it's themselves. So sometimes it's hard to get a good balance about when to scold and when not. So if you get scolded and don't deserve it, remember it's likely because your parents are just trying to protect you and teach you what's right and responsibilities. Parents aren't always perfect and make mistakes, and you will too when you get older. So learn from them now, and then you'll know how your kids feel when they get older.

Sometimes. No parent is perfect. Some parents are abusive. Sometimes children never think they deserve punishment. Every situation is different.

No, this won't get me best answer, but it's the honest truth. Teenagers do deserve scolding. But they can't get over themselves to see it. Sorry, but your parents are legit on this one.

I'm sure it happens maybe while the parents are stressed but I would have to say in normal circumstances that they deserve it... well mostly.

I think probably quite alot if not all of us do from time to time but its difficult to be tolerant when you have a whinging whining non opperational teen on your hands. If they cooperate with you there is no reason to be rough with them is there, its just give and take, and mutual respect.

i'd say 50 50 yes no. for example, my brother makes the dog bark, my parents get agitated, they blame it on me and not on that 22 year old BABY of a son.
