Please don't beat yourself up.
As for 1975/76 season we did finish second to liverpool by 1 point,the only time we managed to pip the pool was 1992/93.
oh the glory days maybe they will return too us one day LOL

Yes QPR were runners-up in '76, Liverpool winning their final game to pip QPR to their only real shot at League glory.
Liverpool won by a point, I win here by 2.
