My girlfriend snores through her nose when she goes to sleep. She has asthma so i know it's not her fault, but is there anything she can do to reduce it? She never snores through her mouth so it must be something to do with the asthma and the fact she has had her tonsils removed.

nasal strips are always a good solution, and by the way even if she didn't have asthma it would still not be her fault.

I snore this way as well, mostly during allergy season and if I am laying on my back.

I don't have asthma and my tonsils are still in.

I am working on my weight to lower it so that maybe I won't snore as much.

I have also heard of scar tissue causing people to snore.

You should really take him to see an ear, nose, and throat doctor. Sometimes the septum has polyps or deviations that constrict the free breathing through the nose so the mouth opens to give the person air. Sometimes the uvula in their throat is too large and sometimes the adenoid tissue is blocking his breathing. There are so many determining factors in place. You would be better off to get a professional to look at him . Before you end up in separate rooms, fix it.

In most drug store that have nasal strips that widen the nostrils to allow more air in. That should stop the snoring or at least cut it down.

If that don't work you could always fill a pillow sack with door knobs and let her have it.

Get an anti-snoring device made up from your dentist. They can be very effective.

Does she lay on her side? I'm told that helps.
