If they are all caked up with built up wax, try ammonia. It will eat it right off. Then you can rewax and have a clean, shiny surface. If they don't have wax build up, then pretty much any cleaning product made for vinyl floors will do a good job. You may have to rinse though to get it looking good.

brushing the vinyl to get rid of debris and then mopping it using hot water with a little detergent/disinfectant/dash of bleach works perfectly. You dont want it shiny as it will become dangerously slippy. If there is a stubborn mark, then its a matter of getting down on the hands and knees with a cloth!
It is the easiest material to keep clean and lasts for ever.

The very best and the gentlest, I find to be : Murphy Oil Soap. It also has a very pleasant smell. the floor will shine. And even if you do not wear gloves it will be good to your hands Try it , you'll like it .

I use TSP. You can buy it at the grocery store and you won't believe the dirt that comes off the floor! Follow the directions on the box.

Only clean your vinyl floors with vinegar and water, The floor cleaning stuff today only makes buildup on your floors and makes it harder to clean. if you got buildup, buy floor striper and then clean with vinegar and water............

It is called a swiffer wet jet . we love it makes whole room smell good and easy to use . it is so good i could make a t.v. commerical for them . only thing on t.v. i have seen that really works.
