kicking, screaming, biting, scratching gouging and swearing.
And if my kids put me in a nursing home i'm coming back to haunt them.

Those that go the "kicking and screaming" route usually look and act so fake in the process, that they come off more old-looking and undignified than their "grow old gracefully" counterparts. A willingness to go gracefully really indicates that you do not let your age stop you from doing what you want, rather than just pretending you are younger than you are. The "kicking and screaming" folks, contrary to what they'd want you to believe, are actually the ones that fear age most.

If growing old gracefully means sitting and watching life go by, then I want to be kicking and screaming.
At coming up on 70 I still take an active part in life. You don't find me sitting at home doing nothing every night.
LIFE IS TO BE ENJOYED even if you have medical problems.

A bit of both I think....
Grow old gracefully and acknowledge the fact that you no longer look as good in jeans and a white t-shirt, but grow old kicking and screaming - have fun and be childish til the day that you die.

Hey might as well grow gracefully. You can't stop time so why fight it.
Worst thing to see is someone trying WAY too hard to look younger than they are.
Accept the fact that you are going to get old and it becomes more fun

I see a lot of wrinkles in the mirror...and the shape of my skull through my (thinning) hair, but my weight has stabilized and so has my mood. Therefore, growing old isn't so bad. I think that I am more handsome now than I was when I was 22, being 32 now.
Gracefully is my answer...but not everybody's.

Physically, I'd like to grow old gracefully, but mentally I'll be kicking the screaming "I miss my wrinkle-fee skin", the entire way.
