Is the culture in your country dying? Lately I have used some "true blue" sayings and people dont know what the hell l'm talking about... Is it the same where you are?

I live in Australia, as long as you talk to a white or aborignal you are fine with talking in slang, asians and muslims don't understand.

We aren't allowed to put up Christmas and Easter decorations in the town centres anymore because the Asians and the Muslims protested against it.

So its yes and no. I am true blue

G'day mate...I sure am True Blue and loving it.
What about the saying "Ocker" that is me too.

Come on. Australia is not dying just look at the reaction to Steve Irwins death. I believe people stuck together and grieved together.

nah not really.. somewhere along the lines a blob of red was thrown in and i'm now slowing turning purple.. hehehehe

but serioulsy, the culture in my country is fast dying too.. i guess they calling it 'modernisation'... but i personally believe one can be modern and still maintain their cultures and values - but alas - the rest of the country doesnt think so...

Oh yea, I hear ya. Most people have no idea what I am talking about when I use "old school" lingo. It saddens me, but I stay True Blue.

I am "true blue", the "cat's meow", "kool", "I bit the dirt", "sweety pie", "red hot potato", "keen", it is too late, I give up.
