If the conduit box in the ceiling is fairly old then it will require a 2BA screw.

Depends on the age of the uv box, if its 'recent', last 18 years or so , it's M4, before that it was 2BA, and before that it was 3/16 . Also some other odd sizes in certain regions.

Most modern conduit boxes take a 4mm machine screw for UK and european installations.

It should be either a 6x32 or 8x32 bolt.
