Note - The problem is I live in a small village in the middle of nowhere in the UK, the closest place i can get lessons would cost me a fortune in travel expenses :(

You can buy a keyboard with keylights. You can follow the lights to play a tune. Also get a beginners book. Its very easy. I tought myself Keyboard, Guitar and Bass and now i play in bands.

Music lessons ae a good idea but if not music lessons then learn the keys by keyboard books and listen to songs that have alot of keyboard tunes in them. I play the keyboard myself. i only had a few lessons but i stopped after a while and i bought a missy higgins book and it has all the notes , as well as words to all the songs!!
Good luck with the Keyboard Buddy!!
