I disagree completely. Whilst I think that there wouldn't be any better actor for Romeo And Juliet, Gangs of New York was a completely wrong choice. You can only have a "best actor" in context with the film.

Johnny Depp is not technically YOUNG, but he definately is one of the most talented/under-rated actors out there.... Leo has a few great films, actually Basketball Diaries was on earlier today... and that is a spectacular film... great acting on leo's part ( but i feel Mr. Depp is a little more talented)

I believe he is an attribute to his peers, and he should have a long and prosperous future. I do not understand what being Gay has to do with anything, (if he is) it doesn't seem to have hurt his career, He definitely has potential. There are many fine young men in the Film Industry, Yes, I think he is talented.

I've thought that since seeing him "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?"
Oh and "This Boy's Life" with Robert DeNiro and Ellen Barkin.
A lot of depth for his age.
