any systematic study can be a science and depending on the perception of the one who studies it, it can be an art also. that which appeals to the head i call science and that which appeals to the heart is art. hence archeology can be both science and art!

Logy means study. And acrhe means ancient. so archeology means study of old. so archeology is definitely a science.

It is based on science, but I don't know if I'd go as far as saying it is science. I don't see any reason to believe it is an art.

If history is BUNK then Archeology is JUNK.

It depends it has gone "high tech" and it does use scientific principles. But it does take skill and talent to put those clay jars back together!

it relies upon on how the college teaches it. for some faculties, an MS ability you're taking extra technological know-how classes, it is the way i could bypass. yet in different faculties, an MA ability you're taking extra effective Arts classes. It feels like a similar component, would not it? it extremely isn't any longer.
