I hope so, but I think in the case of America the only way to enact real change and a return to a sane society is to tear down the current establishment through bloody revolution.

And why not? God did not abandon the responsibility to protect the earth by coming down in some avatar or the other.For aught we know he may already be amongst us. Perhaps we may not be guided by an angel to follow a certain star and stop where it stops and look below. There may not be an old manger but a quite moder dairy with an attached maternity hospital and in that disinfectant atmosphere He may have arrived or is in the process of it. every nation and age has heroes.....some are known and some remain unsung heroes.....are fire fighters of the trade center not heroes.....some of them lost their lives.....are people dying in iraq and afghanistan even nato soldiers not heroes who are loosing lives for a cause they dont agree with because it never existed.
