I have had that on my foot sometime ago and the pads DO NOT WORK they are a waste of money and pumice stones really hurt especially on children as they have such delicate feet. As i have sensitive feet i always dealt with mine in a warm/hot bath with loads of oil in it to firstly soften the skin - u can make homemade oil from lavender scent and olive oil and shake it together really works - anyway back to the feet - a corn and callous file as it is not too tough when used in conjuction with the above (hot water etc) and then use CCS Foot care cream it is really softening also from boots - I hope this helps and let me know how you get on - Take care - x 1 x

First figure out what is causing the callous. Maybe his shoes don't fit correctly. I'm not sure how old he is, but unless he's a teenager or older then I don't think you should use a pumice stone. Just put moisturizer on it every day. There is a good foot cream that has tea tree oil in it, I know it made my feet, heels and ankles really soft.

Use a pumice stone and a good moisturiser, one especially developed for feet, like scholls heel softening cream should work quite quickly.

There is a medicated patch that you put over the callus and it really softenes it up. Enquire at your local chemist and Im sure they will help you. I can remember what it is called but it was great, and really worked.

are you sure its a callus not a verrucae- best see a chiropodist- the callus removal pads are dangerous- I would never reccomend them on a child or living person!!
