it's common to learn, but not every person HAS to learn it. and no we have plenty to learn about our country even though it's only a couple hundred years old. we learn about other countries too. we're not all dumb Americans, thanks.

I think it depends on the teaching style of the educator. I don't recall having to list each President by order.

Yes, we all have to memorize the names of all the Presidents at some time in our education...we quickly forget though in most cases.

We learn about the former presidents....yes. We don't have to know them in order or anything though.
