I have been through this personally and put alot of thought into it over the years. These are my results starting from the BEST as #1.
Best:
1 - Abstinence - Obviously this works but won't do your relationship any good if you are in one.
2 - Diaphragm or Cap - This is called a 'barrier' method of birth control. No pills, no artificial hormones messing with your body. You just pop it in and it stays in for several hours, you can even sleep with it in. Take it out when you have a shower. It's easy to clean and one will last you a good 6-8 months. You can get them from any family planning clinic or your doctor.
3 - Condoms - Another barrier method of birth control. This one is obvious but again, the benefit is that you are not shoving artificial hormones down your throat and messing with your body with chemicals.
I would not suggest anything other than a barrier method of birth control. The Pill or the Injection come with some serious possible side effects and are not even 100% effective. I became pregnant while on the pill and know several women who have had the same happen. The other major problem is that when you take artificial hormones in the form of pill or injection, you are introducing something into your body that it is not natural. The medical community does not even know the long term effects of oral contraceptives yet so I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
Just some advice from someone who has tried everything - my hubby and I use condoms. They offer the best protection and I don't have to pop a pill every day.
Hope that helps you.

i have regarded into this myself interior the previous and in reality i will not likely see the way it really is fairly solid. at the start, no longer each menstrual cycle is an same, you could, in theory, ovulate everywhere between days 10-19 of your cycle. Sperm could also proceed to exist interior the body for as a lot as 7 days. Condoms could have as a lot as a 15% ffailure fee. the most solid approach, is with out doubt hormone contraceptives. you'll desire to diploma basal temperature, position of cervix and cervical mucous. Who the hell needs to move by that palaver anytime you decide on to have sex (??) and then you'll have sex loose days. that's a consistent difficulty. Why no longer have the Mirena IUS or the hormone loose IUD inserted?

All of the above! But know that condoms break, and the pills don't always work( I am here as a default pill). And getting pregnant is not as bad as getting a life threatening disease..... so abstinence!

It all depends. Sex with a woman who is barren, or past menopause works well in preventing pregnancy.
When you are of child-bearing age, a vasectomy is best as it is reversible, but you do need to follow doctor's orders.

Abstinence. If you want to make sure not to have a baby. If your having sex, I happen to be one of the few males who actually didn't mind using condoms.

The most effective are vasectomy and tubal ligation, unless female wants to have a hysterectomy.
