Hello, rbsingh. as you might be aware that whatever info you access or work upon in a computer it is first retrieved from the hard disk and is stored on the Ram. Ram is the place where you do all your work. and suppose you got 256mb or 512mb Ram on your system and you accessing data which exceeds the capacity of Ram it is stored at some other location which is known as the VIRTUAL MEMORY.

by making changes to the Virtual memory you can increase or decrease the performance , i.e the speed of a computer to some extent.

Need to increase / decrease or custom the Virtual Memory of your system Go to < My computer > mouse right click > Select Properties > select Performance > and apply the changes according to your needs.

Need more Info on Virtual Memory or whatever related to the functioning of a computer or any other information, just

go to < Start > select Help and Support > Type your question in the search box > Click go.

You will find almost everything you need, irrespective of the Operating System your machine has. Every O / S has its own HELP AND SUPPORT CENTER. just above Run.

Explore and Learn.
