If there was no such thing as music, would everyone dress the same?
Music has a massive influence on the way people dress and live their lives. If music didn't exist what would the world be like?

Music does have an influence on clothing but it's not the only one. There's culture, society, surroundings and science that have made people dress certain ways. e.g. People in African countries dress lightly due to heat(surroundings) in loud colours(culture) while people in colder climates dress much heavier clothes. 50 years ago noone heard of synthetic fibre. These days 50% of our clothes contain synthetics etc.

No, but it is true fashion and music go together like bread and butter. Iman the Model and David Bowie the Musician are a great example of that. Fashion does not revolve around the music industry or vice versa. Fashion starts from fashion designers individual taste. I think if music did not exist it would be a very boring place w/no music stations, music TV, I Pods, CDs, or concerts. Also movies would only have sound affects.

With the way things are going, in 20 years there will not be music. . . by 2015 there will be 2 companys that own the music industry, & I mean literally!!! They will own VH1, MTV, BET, & whatever new music television network comes along. All the radio stations, concert halls, magazines, & dance clubs. They put these weird f'd up sounds together & brain wash people in to believing that it's music. It'll be like Kelis, Rick Ross, & Gwen Stephani; except more watered down, & 1000 times worse.

Well it is impossible to say music could never exist. Maybe music as we know it couldd not exist but there would always be organised sound as hearing is one of our main senses. If we did not have the technology to make records like we do now, there would still be basic drums, horns and chimes that could count as music aslong as it was organised rather than random sounds. A better way of thinking would be to say "what if we was all deaf", that elimates all sounds completely. If that was the case then i would have to say art would be much more popular. Using our vision to look at colours and hands ot feel textures of sculptures. As intelligent beings we would always find somethng to amuse ourselves. If music never existed we would not miss it as we would have never known the joys of it. What if music was banned from today? That would make life a lot more boring, i totally agree.

ok ill just take it as being asked hypothetically...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

would everyone dress the same? hmm..no. cause then there would be those, lets say, 'wannabes' who cant think of any kewl way to dress up so they start adopting styles from those who are more creative and stylish than them.

And then you have individualists who would care less about what they would look like/ appear to the public...

Its just famous 'people' in the music industry tht had an influence on the way ppl dress... u see they become most ppl's role model..

or.. people are other people's influence.. one way or the other

the eyes can see what they ears cant (lack of a better word) dress.

Music videos influence the way people dress. Music doesn't.

A world without music would be a sad and sorry world. Music is a great way of expressing yourself. Be it by making music or by listening to it.

people wouldn't dress the same because allot of it is based on the weather and needs of the person. I think of clothes as body armor.

I think the world would be a bit boring without music.

Frankly, living won't bcome like what it is now.

But, even if one day there wont be any music in this world, what can you say?

I myself really love music. But, when i read ur question, then i realize that .. Our life is not for music but music is created for us.

So, even there wont be any tunes, the 'show must go on'.

We cant stop our life 'only' bcause of the loss of music, right?

Its not only for music but all things in this life..
