If a god "came" from somewhere, if he had a beginning, than he wouldn't be God would he? God didn't come from anything or anywhere--He always was. His name is, in fact, I Am that I Am meaning eternal existence.
If might be easier to understand if you realized that God exists in a "dimension" that does not have time or space. It is completely different then everything we know. God is a spirit and doesn't need dimension in order to exist. He has no physical properties.
When He created us, he created us in a physical world and He created time and space at the same time so the physical world would have a place to exist and we would be able to comprehend life because of the changing and ongoing nature of existence.

Vas, God is the Great I Am. God predates time and in fact is the Author of time. He is not 'created.' He did not 'come' from anywhere, He simply IS. God is the First Cause. His is the Intelligent Design that Willed the Creation of the Universe.

At times Man tries to question God as if we were on equal footing with Him. That simply is not true. There are things we have to accept that we simply are not wired to understand. Can we expect Man's faithful friend the dog to comprehend complex mathematics? We don't even understand each other, how can we possibly hope to understand the Mind or Essence of God?

God is not a man that he should submit to clinical analysis or critical review. He is the Great I Am apart from Whom nothing is.

Now I have a couple of questions for you: Why did you post this question in the Mythology & Folklore section rather than the Religion/Spirituality section? You say, "God made us..." does this mean that you are a believer?

We made God....God came from the imagination of the human mind and heart, we can't accept that we are just here. We need an explanation. So we create Deities and myths to explain why things are the way they are..

Yes I believe in God too....in case you are wondering

No, mother nature did nt give birth to God. Remember God made woman out of man. It was always God. There was no female nature created yet to bring her, mother of earth to being.

Satan is one of the most moronic concepts Christians have. Here they have their so called perfect, all loving god who allows Satan to run around, messing up his beloved creation. If god loved me so much and wanted me to spend eternity with him you would think he would do something about Satan but no, he just lets him be. Yet if I do something wrong god will send me to the pits of hell. Hypocritical.

Sorry to disappoint u but, our brains are not meant to comprehend such deep information. If we knew that then either we would go crazy or ballistic or something, or we would be perfect.

What would worry me about God is if u knew where he came from.

you're thinking like a mortal--god was always here, according to those who believe in her. but what about matter--was matter always here? if so, then it didn't need to be created. and if a god can always be here, that which we have not seen, why can't we believe that matter, which we see and experience, was always here and didn't need divine creation to get here?

"God" is an idea, an expression. In the beginning there was creation and this creation came to be known as god.
