I have seen this movie 10 times and I still do not understand if Reese knew he was John's father! He was from the future and John was an adult where he came from... So didn't John know that Reese was his father? Sarah was telling John about his father at the end of the movie, she was recording messages to him. And Reese was given a picture of Sarah by John. But in the movie, Reese didn't seem to know he was John's father. Did he? Or was he just acting like he didn't know?
I just always get confused b/c when they show Reese in the future, he was the same age as he was when he came to defend Sarah. or was that just how Sarah viewed him as he told her the stories? Was he really old in the future? :-/
Am I making sense to anybody? Or is it time for me to go to bed? :) Answer if you can enlighten me...

And I think Sarah just viewed Reese as young when she told her stories.

I think that Reese did know that he was John's father, and that was why it was so important for him to go back and find Sarah. He knew what all depended on it. I also think it's his correct age in the future cause he's that age when he goes back in time, and that's how old he is when he's terminated. Sounds logical.
