An underwire bra is built as a pair of tubes under the portion that supports the breasts. During construction, the manufacturer inserts the wires, then just sews the ends of the tubes shut. As the garmet is worn, the thread in the stitching that closed the tubes wears out, and the wires slide out easily, being usually stainless steel and smooth, or in less expensive garments, chrome plated, which is also quite smooth, and will easily slip past the degenerating threads.

When the underwire pushes too often at the stitching that keeps it inside your bra then your underwire pops out, this most often happens when your bra is in the washing machine or tumble dryer because of the vigorous motions of tese machines.
The best thing to do is sew these holes closed again with needle and thread. Or you could just buy a new bra everytime, but this could become expensive. My hubby sews my underwires back in when they fall out for me.

Paul why are you wearing a bra for in the first place???? Secondly if that is happening it's time to buy some new bras.
I looked at your other questions....You are a cross-dresser, therefor you don't have breast as women do. So you don't need a under wire bra. Under-wire bras give extra support and a lift.
